YOGA

With yoga you can dramatically retard, even reverse the tendency to stiffen as you age. You can actually bring the suppleness of youth back into your life and be more flexible, durable and stronger.

One of the most obvious things about having a body is it tends to stiffen. As you age your flexibility diminishes. Perhaps you feel less energetic, less resilient to change, more prone to injury and injuries take longer to heal. You many not feel quite as alive as you used to feel. Let Yoga help bring it back.

The asanas, or physical postures of yoga, are helpful for reducing muscular tension and having been shown to be valuable for strength building and core strengthening. Yoga helps increase performance of other physical activities and supports an active life.

The practice of yoga is well-demonstrated to reduce the physical effects of stress on the body and has been found to lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels.
